Born Dolores Mary Eileen O’Riordan, 6 September 1971, in Ballybricken, County Limerick, Ireland, (died 15 January 2018, London), D O’R was a musician, vocalist and and singer-songwriter for The Cranberries, who played keyboards, guitar and bass. She was known for her lilting mezzo-soprano voice, her emphasized use of yodelling and for her strong Limerick accent. In April 2014, O'Riordan joined and began recording new material with the trio D.A.R.K.
