Running Scared and Crying are both  Roy Orbison songs, that were written by Orbison and Joe Melson. and released released by Monument Records in 1961. Running Scared went to #1 on the Billboard Hot100. Crying was a #2 hit  for Orbison on its 1961 release in the U.S. Both songs would appear on Orbison’s 1962 album Crying.
